During this particularly difficult time, it is essential that we join forces to tackle the pandemic in the most effective way possible, contributing the resources and means that are in our hands.
Here at THB hotels, and in line with our commitment to the protection and health of our society and local communities, we are making our contribution to ease these difficulties. We have offered the authorities resources such as mattresses, blankets, sheets, ozone generators for disinfection and have placed one of our properties at their disposal to provide accommodation for medical staff whose work brings them into close contact with possible, probable or confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The THB Mirador Hotel, situated on Palma de Mallorca’s sea promenade, will offer accommodation for medical staff wishing to avoid the risk of infecting family members, or those resident in other areas. Healthcare workers are the group that has been most affected by contagion.
We have placed the THB Mirador’s 100 rooms at the disposal of the Balearic Island health service (IB Salut), which reopened on 2nd April to provide support for the local community and guarantee the safety of healthcare professionals and their families.
We wish to thank all those who are on the frontline, working tirelessly to protect and care for us, to make our lives a little bit easier and who are our real heroes. There are only two words capable of expressing how we feel: THANK YOU!
