Travelife bases its vision of sustainable development on three variables:
- ECONOMIC: creating policies and strategies for the development of destinations
- ENVIRONMENTAL: environmental protection for destinations
- SOCIAL: cultural protection for destinations
Here at THB hotels we are fully aware of the fragility of our environment and the limited natural resources we have today. For this reason, the correct and efficient management of our hotels in these three areas of sustainability is absolutely essential.

The commitment of all our hotel and central office employees has enabled the THB Tropical Island**** and THB Gran Playa**** hotels to receive Travelife Gold Certification.
So what exactly does this commitment involve? What aspects have we focused on in order to obtain Travelife Gold Certification?
ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT
- Energy efficiency. Our goal is to cut energy requirements for products and services.
- Limiting emissions, calculating our carbon footprint. We are working to reduce consumption and cut emissions into the Earth’s atmosphere. In addition to limiting our acquisition and use of products, we are also reusing and recycling.
- Waste sorting. This consists of separating rubbish and other waste products in order to reduce, reuse and recycle materials.
- Locally-sourced gastronomy. We opt for top quality, locally produced ingredients.

Human rights, centred especially on customers.
