Here at THB hotels, we work hard each year to ensure that our hotels meet the standards required for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. And the reason for those efforts? They are the best-known ISO standards in the world, implemented by more than a million organisations in no fewer than 178 countries.
ISO 9001 collaborates with the various organisations, helping them to implement a quality management system. This tool enables us to standardise and optimise processes and procedures, thereby guaranteeing quality services that will amply meet our customers’ needs and wishes.
ISO 14001 assists companies with the implementation of an environmental management system. It provides standardised guidance necessary to monitor the environmental impact of their business activity. Our objectives within the scope of this certification include the following:
- To contribute to the protection of the environment for both current and future generations.
- To help reduce contaminating waste levels.
- To reduce energy and water consumption.- To reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
THB hotels renewed both certifications in 2019 and 2020, thereby achieving recognition for our standards of excellence and our commitment to the environment. Having a single management system for all our establishments proved vital last year, as it enabled us to remain operational throughout the COVID-19 health emergency. All we had to do was to adapt the protocols and procedures already in place to the new circumstances. The result of these modifications was a Safety and Hygiene Protocol that amply complies with our responsibility to protect our customers, employees, suppliers and collaborators.This successful renewal is thanks to the ongoing commitment, work and efforts of employees both in our hotels and the various corporate office departments involved.
