So what was new in 2018? Let’s take a look back…

Dreams come true, challenges overcome, a new addition to the family and exciting new projects.

We started the year with improvements to the facilities at a number of our hotels.
We started the year with improvements to the facilities at a number of our hotels. The THB Gran Playa**** (Can Picafort, Majorca) now boasts a new hall, bar and restaurant, adding a more contemporary air. Just a short distance away, and following on from last year’s room renovations, the THB Guya Playa**** (Cala Ratjada, Majorca) reopened for the 2018 season with a fabulous new-look restaurant.  In Sa Coma, major improvements have been made to the buffet restaurant at the THB Sa Coma Platja****, creating a more contemporary air featuring a décor in keeping with the rest of the hotel. At the THB Felip**** (Porto Cristo, Majorca), renovation work was also carried out on the rooms in building two, the restaurant was given a stunning contemporary décor and the lounge bar was given a complete overhaul, although it still retains the classic style for which this hotel is renowned. And last but not least, we also renovated the rooms at the THB Los Molinos**** (Ibiza Town), combining a modern style with a décor that reflects the authentic Balearic Island character.

The THB Mirador**** (Paseo Marítimo, Palma, Majorca) is the latest addition to our portfolio. This friendly 4 star hotel standing right on the sea promenade, one of the city’s prime locations and boasting panoramic views, is the perfect holiday option for couples, groups of friends and families.

The THB College has now got off the ground with the First Class of our ‘In Company’ Dual Training programme. THB hotels launched this project as a revolutionary tool designed to manage our internal talent. We have channelled major efforts and creativity into ensuring career development opportunities for all our work teams.

What lies ahead for 2019?

New and exciting challenges, dreams and projects.

We will be continuing with the improvements to our facilities with two integral renovation projects at the THB Cala Lliteras**** (Cala Ratjada, Majorca) and the THB Mirador**** (Paseo Marítimo, Palma, Majorca). Both hotels will be reopening next year with a completely revamped image.

Moreover, renovation work will be carried out on the façades of the THB Dos Playas*** (Cala Ratjada, Majorca), the THB Sur Mallorca**** (Colònia Sant Jordi, Majorca) and the THB El Cid**** (Playa de Palma, Palma). And last but not least, on Lanzarote, the Reception area at the THB Flora***(Puerto del Carmen) and THB Tropical Island****(Playa Blanca) hotels will be redecorated in order to create a more contemporary look, in line with the hotel’s modern image.

Furthermore, we will continue to focus on two projects that we have worked hard to launch and which we are deeply committed to: the THB College we mentioned at the start of this report and our ECO friendly trademark, under which THB hotels is running a sustainability programme aimed at promoting environmentally-friendly practices.

And it goes without saying that here at THB hotels we will continue to work to add new members to our family, seeking out properties that meet our strict quality standards and offer our guests the very best service so that that when they leave, they are already planning to return for another unforgettable holiday experience.
