THB TROPICAL ISLAND AND THB ROYAL RECEIVE THE "TRAVELIFE GOLD" CERTIFICATE

The THB Tropical Island**** and THB Royal**** hotels in Playa Blanca (Lanzarote) have been awarded the “Travelife Gold” certificate.

This internationally renowned standard acknowledges THB hotels’ commitment to minimising the environmental impact of its activities and its responsible management in the areas of sustainability, the environment and employees’ social and labour rights, whilst at the same time guaranteeing quality and ongoing improvements to its services.

Both the THB Tropical Island**** and the THB Royal**** have successfully met the strict standards of this top certification, joining the THB Flora***, which was awarded the certificate in May this year.

This certificate is significant as it proves that hard work and efforts have been channelled into improving the following goals:

- Minimising environmental impact.
- Improving the social and economic impact for local people within the community.
- Respecting and protecting workers’ human rights and labour practices.
- Conserving and caring for animal welfare and the biodiversity in the surrounding area.

Meeting sustainability goals provides a boost for the company, enabling it to look ahead to 2023 filled with energy and a strong sense of responsibility.
