The THB Gran Bahía is a 4 star hotel standing on the Sea Promenade in Can Picafort, a town nestling in the delightful Alcudia Bay, in north-west Majorca.
Just 5 kilometres from the hotel lies the Son Real Prehistoric Necropolis, listed as a Spanish Heritage Site. It can be reached by bicycle, car or public transport, which will take you as far as Son Bauló Beach, just a short walk from this prehistoric cemetery. Alternatively, you can start your excursion from the hotel and walk along the Sea Promenade. On the way, you will come across sculptures by Joan Bennassar, standing at four strategic spots along the seafront. The figures represent goddesses and fairies that “converse with nature and the sea”.
The S'Albufera Nature Park is 7 km from the hotel, boasting the Balearic Islands’ largest and finest wetlands.

At the first roundabout, take the turning for Passeig Colon. Just a few minutes further on you will come to the hotel, which stands on the left-hand side of the road.

One option is to take the TIB L390 bus to Can Picafort from the intermodal transport station in Palma de Mallorca. Once there, get off at the stop on Passeig Colon (in front of “La Caixa” Bank). From there, turn left and the hotel is just a two-minute walk away.
