The ECO friendly trademark reflects THB hotels’ ongoing commitment to a sustainability programme that encourages good environmental practices. You too can help us to reach our goals during your stay at the hotel.
Here are just a few of the ways you can contribute to the programme:
Use our recycling corners. You’ll find them in the communal areas.
Reduce food waste to a minimum.
Preferably opt for products of recycled origin.
Select materials that are more environmentally friendly and have a longer lifespan.
Here at THB hotels we have eliminated single-use plastics: single dose gels, shampoos, oil and vinegar, etc… as part of our commitment to the environment and pursuant to the provisions of Balearic Islands Law 8/2019, of 19th February on contaminated land and waste.
So why don’t you do the same?
- When you leave our facilities, avoid using plastic straws, supermarket bags, single use cutlery, etc.
- Whenever possible, choose paper or glass packaging.
- In the supermarket, shop loose products.
Inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List is one of the highest accolades any location can aspire to. This organisation is responsible for assessing the quality standards, beauty and state of conservation of cities, monuments, natural landscapes and traditions around the world.
Listed under the Cultural Landscape category of the World Heritage List, the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range is one of the Balearic Islands’ greatest attractions and a source of true pride for locals.
Furthermore, in 2010 the Chant of the Sybil was included on UNESCO’s Intangible World Heritage List due to its cultural value and historical significance.
